BRING THE FLIGHTS YOU ALREADY LOGGED

Your history
comes with you.

Moving from OpenFlights? Bring your flight history with you.

Import your OpenFlights CSV and check every row before anything is saved: what was read, which rows couldn’t be used and why, and which flights may already be in your logbook. Nothing is merged or deleted for you.

  • Imported: date and departure time, airports, flight number, airline, aircraft, registration, seat and position, class, reason, duration and notes.
  • Worked out here: distance, from the airports along the great circle, so it may differ slightly from the file.
  • Not imported: OpenFlights trip groupings and its internal ID columns.

More ways in

Your flights.
Your choice.

A focused flight logbook can be the whole experience. Photos, stories and sharing are there whenever you want them.

Control your visibility

Your profile and map can be public or private; change it any time in settings. Upcoming flights, seat numbers and booking references are never shown publicly.

Take your records with you

Export all your flights, or just the ones you’ve filtered, as CSV, an OpenFlights-style CSV, KML or GPX. Delete your account and everything goes with it.

One history, two views

Switch between Flight Logbook and Travel stories on the same flights. Switching never copies records, creates another profile or changes who can see them.

A few things to know.

Can I use flew.world only as a flight logbook?

Yes. Flight Logbook works with flight records alone: the map, statistics, import and export. Photos, trip stories and sharing are optional.

Is the flight logbook free?

Yes. Logging, the route map, statistics, import and export are free.

Can I import my OpenFlights history?

Yes, and CSV exports from Flighty, myFlightradar24, App in the Air and spreadsheets too. You review every flight, the rows that couldn’t be read and any possible duplicates before saving. Some source fields aren’t imported; the preview tells you which.

Are these actual flown tracks?

No. The map joins airports along the great circle, the shortest path over the Earth, and distances are measured the same way; real flown tracks are longer. Flight time uses the duration you recorded; where there isn’t one, it’s estimated from the distance and marked as an estimate. The sample on this page is fictional.

What does “countries reached by air” mean?

Every country of an airport you flew into or out of, connections included. It isn’t a count of countries you visited: a transit stop doesn’t prove a visit.

I already use flew.world for trips. Is this a new account?

No. Same account, same flights. Choose which view opens first in settings, or switch between them at the top of the app.
