Is there a Spotify Wrapped for flights?

Airlines don’t make a Wrapped of every flight you took, but you can. The apps that do it, what each one shows, and how to get yours in ten minutes.

Three story slides showing a top destination, kilometres flown and new countries
The short answer

Not from the airlines, because each airline only sees its own flights. But you can get one: flight log apps build a yearly recap from every flight you add. flew.world does it free on any device, with a year page, a passport card, a Wrapped story from 1 December and three videos to post. Flighty Passport summarises your year inside Flighty on iPhone, and Polarsteps Unpacked recaps trips you tracked with Polarsteps. To get yours, add this year’s flights to one of them before the end of December.

Every December, Spotify Wrapped fills social feeds with top songs and listening minutes, and every other app follows: fitness apps, photo apps, food delivery. Flights are the obvious gap. For many people, where they flew is the most interesting thing about their year, and yet no single company has the whole picture.

Why airlines can’t make one

Flights from four airlines combined into one year page

Your flights are spread across companies that don’t share data with each other:

  • Each airline sees only its own flights. Fly with four airlines and you appear in four separate databases.
  • Codeshares confuse things. A flight sold by one airline and operated by another may only count in one programme.
  • Booking sites see bookings, not flights. They know what you paid for, not whether you flew, missed a connection or were rebooked.
  • Nobody knows your trips. A two-hour connection in Istanbul and a four-night stay in Istanbul look the same to an airline.

Some loyalty programmes send a “your year with us” email, which is a nice touch, but it covers one airline. A real flight Wrapped needs every flight in one place, and only you can put them there.

flew.world

A free flight log that works in any browser. Your year page shows your totals (flights, kilometres, hours in the air, airports, countries, airlines), how far around the Earth that took you, your records and firsts, every flight month by month and a comparison with last year. From 1 December there is a Wrapped story, and you can save three videos of your year on a satellite globe as MP4s for Reels, TikTok or Stories. More in Travel Wrapped 2026.

Flighty Passport

Flighty is a flight tracker for iPhone, iPad and Mac. Flighty Passport summarises the flights you tracked: where you went, how far you flew and how much time delays cost you, which only a tracker knows. Past flights older than 365 days need Flighty Pro. Not available on Android.

Polarsteps Unpacked

Polarsteps tracks trips by your phone’s location while you travel. Since December 2025, Polarsteps Unpacked recaps your year as slides: days travelling, distance from home, countries, your furthest point and an AI-made “travel personality”. It covers trips you recorded in Polarsteps, including ground travel.

How to get your flight Wrapped in ten minutes

  1. Open flew.world and create a free account.
  2. Add this year’s flights. A flight number and a date are enough; the airports, distance and time are filled in. Or scan a boarding pass, or import a CSV export from Flighty, myFlightradar24 or OpenFlights.
  3. Check your trips. Flights are grouped into trips, and short changes of plane count as connections, not visits. Correct anything that’s wrong.
  4. Open your year page at flew.world/u/yourname/2026. Press play to watch it on the globe.
  5. Save a video in the Share Studio and post it, or save the passport card as a Story image.

Forgot some flights? Search your email for “boarding pass” or “e-ticket” with the year, and check each airline’s loyalty account. Our guide on finding old flights covers every place to look.

What a good flight Wrapped shows

The best year recaps share a few things, whichever app you use:

  • The big number. Kilometres or miles flown, ideally with something to compare it to: “81% of the way around the Earth” means more than “32,535 km”.
  • Places, not airports. Where you stayed, rather than every airport you changed planes at.
  • Records. Longest flight, busiest month, first time in a new country.
  • Comparison with last year. More flights or fewer? Further or closer to home?
  • Something to post. A vertical video or a Story-sized image, not a screenshot of a table.

Make it a yearly tradition

The second year is when a flight Wrapped gets really interesting, because you can compare. flew.world shows each total against the year before: more flights or fewer, further or closer to home, new countries or old favourites. A few habits make it easy:

  • Add flights as you go. A flight number and date take seconds when you book or land.
  • Add a photo per trip when you get home, while you remember which one you liked best.
  • Fill in the past once. An evening with your email and airline accounts can add years of history, and every past year gets its own page. See how to find your old flights.
  • Set a goal for next year. New countries, number of flights or a CO₂ budget; see travel goals for 2027.

When to post it

Recap season peaks in the first two weeks of December, when Spotify Wrapped lands, and again between Christmas and New Year. If your last trip of the year is in late December, wait: flew.world keeps your year “so far” until 31 December, and the Wrapped story stays until the end of January.
